The importance of endodontic treatment is incontestable for the upkeep of permanent teeth with pulp infection in the oral cavity. A variety of treatment strategies in need of scientific evidence has been reported. In the last few years, there has been a true revolution in endodontic treatment, with the introduction of new technologies and changes in biological concepts. Specialists in Endodontics who graduated more than 10 years ago and have not kept up-todate might feel they are falling behind, scientifically speaking.
