Fernando Pereira Pastor, Fernando Kfouri, David Morita, Felipe Murayama Mannocci

The authors report a clinical case of a single-tooth ceramic (porcelain) restoration carried out in a central incisor by means of CAD-CAM technique. Digital impression was made after tooth preparation. he software compared it to a prescanned waxing and created a digital image of the restoration. Subsequently, data was sent to a milling machine where the ceramic crown was prepared. Two diferent types of material were used to fabricate three ceramic crowns with various inishing features. All crowns were tested and photographed. One of them was chosen for cementation.
