How do orthodontists update their clinical practice in the 21st century?

I was highly pleased to accept Dr. Carlos Alexandre Câmara’s invitation to be the first author writing for the “That is How I See It” session. When I was invited, I was advised to express my most sincere and strongest opinion, being aware that this would be the opportunity to freely explain in details my thoughts on a theme of my own choice. Thus, with the intention of providing this journal’s readers a useful review, I decided to discuss about how I think orthodontists should update their practice.
