How to manufacture an anterior bite plate without orthodontic bands

INTRODUCTION: Temporary bite builds ups in the anterior region optimize treatment time, aiding in orthodontic therapy. Nevertheless, it is often necessary either to install a bite plate subsequently to first molar orthodontic bands or directly attach composite “bite-turbos” on the palatal surface of the maxillary, central, and/or lateral incisors. OBJECTIVE: The present article seeks to show the manufacture and versatility of an anterior bite plate with the advantages of both techniques, skipping the mentioned clinical steps and with a better distribution of masticatory forces.
