Introduction: Temporary extra-alveolar skeletal anchorage devices (DTAEA) represent a major innovation in orthodontics and can provide good orthodontic anchorage in clinical practice, requiring no patient cooperation. These devices are small in size, have high strength, easy to install, and enable massive dental arch movement, being considered with great advantages for orthodontic anchorage. Objective: This paper aims to report orthodontic intervention in a patient to compensate for a skeletal Class III malocclusion. Results: Occlusal problems were corrected after thirteen months of treatment with the aid of parasutural mini-implants in the posterior palate and adaptation of the versatile skeletal anchorage bar for protraction of the upper dental arch. Conclusion: This orthodontic approach using DTAEA has been shown to be effective in the treatment of skeletal Class III malocclusion, making it a valuable resource in the treatment of similar clinical cases.
