Introduction: The use of orthodontic aligners has shown a significant increase in clinical practice, being used even in complex cases, requiring from the orthodontist greater biomechanical knowledge of the system, especially with regard to the staging of movement and the use of auxiliary therapy during treatment. Objective: Therefore, this article aims to report the treatment for correction of dental Class II associated with extractions of maxillary first molars, using the Invisalign® aligners, showing the difficulties that may occur during mechanics and their possible solutions. Conclusion: Orthodontic treatment with Invisalign® can bring excellent results, even in complex cases, as long as the orthodontist has experience in his biomechanics and knows how to deal with possible difficulties during treatment and thus establish a correct clinical conduct in its management.
