Patients with maxillary lateral incisors bilateral agenesis represent a great challenge to the clinician in relation to treatment planning and mechanotherapy. Decision to be made concerning the type of treatment to be instituted is dependent upon several factors, and among those many choices are closing spaces orthodontically or mantaining spaces for future bridgework. Orthodontically spaces closure combined with restorative procedures on maxillary canines and/or teeth often provides better aesthetical and permanent results. This case reports the orthodontic treatment combined with aesthetical restorative procedures wich shows the importance of the restorative dentistry on detailing and finishing of orthodontic cases.
