For a long time Class II treatment has been based upon the use of extraoral anchorage. The rise of many intrabucal apparatus for molars distal movement has allowed acceptable results requiring much less patient cooperation. The objective of this paper is to show that among those many mechanisms for intraoral distal movement the Jones Jig has been distinguished for its easy manufacturing and positioning. This study list characteristics of this appliance and its most common indications as well as the way it works besides dental and skeletal effects.
