Acrylic Covered Bonded Maxillary Expander: Construction Technique and Clinical Considerations

This study shows the clinical aspects of the bonded maxillary expander with a full coverage of the oclusal surfaces by acrylic. This appliance works as a rapid maxillary expander and also as a bite block. It provides control of the vertical development of the face and prevents anterior bite opening in patients with long lower face height. (high SNGoGn).
