In Class II treatments associated with space loss in the upper arch lenght, several intra-oral appliances have been developed since the 80’s to distalize molars, which need a minimal pacient’s cooperation. Among them, Hilger’s Pendulum Appliance has been pointed out by some researchers, which have been studied, modified, and corroborated its efficiency. In the present case report, its performance has been shown in a dental Class II treatment, where the maxillary first molars have been moved distally, recovering enough space to erupt permanent teeth. Thereafter, fixed appliance has been built to finish treatment.
