The correct positioning of brackets is essential and extremily important in effective application of biomechanics, adequate case completion and also to use all orthodontic appliance potential. The use of indirect bonding has been a clinical advance that allows the optimization the lingual or buccal brackets positioning. This is an accurate technique as it makes possible a better visualization as well as makes the work easier, decreasing the chairtime in clinic. Furthermore it is easy to learn and some of this phases can be delegated. This report aims to present the indirect bonding technique showing the advantages and disadvantages of this method.
