Could dental resorptions and bone alterations in the maxillar trabeculate have systemic origin? A clinical and diagnostic approach

For decades, endocrinopathies and other systemic situations were often held to be responsible for alterations to the bone trabeculate, the velocity of orthodontic movement and dental resorption. This paper describes the care and conduct adopted by the endocrinologist in approaching the patient. The knowledge shared by the orthodontist and implantodontist ensures a secure and precise interrelationship between medical odontologists in clarifying such cases.
