Evandro BRONZI, Edvaldo Luiz RAMALLI, Enzo PUGLIESI, Ricardo Fabris PAULIN

The serial extraction is an orthodontic procedure that aims to reconcile differences between a known amount of tooth material and a persistent deficiency in basal bone by sequential removal of primary teeth and premolars. It presents satisfactorily results when a detailed diagnosis is performed during the treatment plan. A case of a patient presenting a severe discrepancy between teeth and maxillaries size treated with a sequence of serial extraction of deciduous teeth and first premolars will be reported.
