A Comparative In Vitro Study about Shear Bond Strength and Adhesive Remnant Index of the Composites Concise and Superbond

This paper was done with the necessity of comparing the shear bond strength and adhesive remnant index (ARI) between the composites Concise and Superbond. The sample consisted of 60 cattle permanent low incisors divided in two groups. In the first group 30 brackets were bonded with the Concise composite and in the second group 30 with the Superbond composite. The tests of the shear and the evaluation of the ARI were developed with the whole sample. As a result of this assignment there were not significant estatistic differences between the composites in the two evaluated itens.
