A sample of 838 children from 2 to 6 years old were examined showing 80% malocclusion incidence. The results of this study showed no significant statistic differences in regards to the prevalence of malocclusion between sex groups. Also, there was no significant influence in the prevalence of malocclusion between the four social and economic level, based in the children familiar salary, classified as below of 1; 1 to 5; 5 to 10; and more than 10 minimum salary.
