The high prevalence of patients with Class II division 1 malocclusion supports constant interest for the clinical orthodontist to recognize its skeletal, facial and dental characteristics. The purpose of this cephalometric study was to compare the maxillomandibular measurements in adolescent males with untreated Class II division 1 malocclusion (N=19) and normal occlusion (N=25). These two groups were compared by means of horizontal-X and vertical-Y Cartesian coordinates and the results displayed only significant mean size differences between the mandibular antero-posterior measurement.
